CHGC Summer Conference
Every summer, representatives from both member and non-member local governments, partnering organizations, and expert presenters gather for the coalition’s annual conference.
The program includes:
- Keynote presentations on current event issues
- Panel discussions
- Summary and adoption of legislative and regulatory objectives
- Networking opportunities for local government officials, partner organizations, and policymakers
- Catered meals and refreshments in between the program
CHGC Winter Meeting
Every Winter, in conjunction with the Virginia Association of Counties (VACO), the coalition meets with members of the General Assembly and their staff during Local Government Day in Richmond. This is a time where members localities join together to promote the interests and address the issues of their communities.
